Financial planning firm is a sponsor for the Davis Arts Center’s annual studio tour and holiday sale.
DAVIS, California—August 17, 2019—Symphony Financial Planning is proud to be a sponsor for two of the Davis Arts Center’s most beloved events: the Davis Art Studio Tour and the annual Holiday Sale.
Symphony Financial Planning has sponsored both events in previous years, and Paul Meyerhoff, the firm’s founder and president, said he felt no hesitation in sponsoring them again.
“These are great events for the community and the artists themselves,” Meyerhoff said. “They help immerse our community in the works of local artists and help the artists get their vision out in the community.”
The Davis Art Studio Tour 2019 offers self-guided tours of Davis-based artist studios. Tourgoers can “visit with artists and gain an added insight of the work and the artistic process during this leisurely, family-friendly event,” the arts center’s website states.
The tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 12 and 13. Tickets cost $10 for general admission and are free for children 12 and younger.

Meanwhile, the 2019 29th Annual Holiday Sale will be held December 6 to 8 at the Davis Arts Center, 1919 F St. in Davis. The event will feature more than 50 art vendors selling functional and fine art goods, including ceramics, textiles, soaps, candies, and clothing.
Children can do their own shopping at the Children’s Secret Store, where volunteers will help them wrap and buy gifts. They can also give free rein to their creativity and make gifts in the pottery-painting studio.
“I particularly love the Holiday Sale,” Meyerhoff said. “Since it’s held in the first week of December, it really sets a festive feel for the entire month for me.”
