Symphony Financial Planning Sponsors Davis Art Studio Tour

Public can meet artists and see works in progress during two-day event.

DAVIS, California—October 9, 2017—Symphony Financial Planning announced today that it is a sponsor of the 2017 Davis Art Studio Tour.

The nonprofit Davis Arts Center hosts the annual tour of local artists. The family-friendly event features a self-guided tour of artist studios and exhibits, and includes the opportunity to talk with artists and see them at work.

This year’s tour features 28 Davis-based artists. The tour is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 14 and 15. There will also be opportunities to view the artists’ work before and after the tour—please see the Davis Arts Center website (link below) for viewing dates and times.

This is the second year that Symphony Financial Planning has sponsored the activity—a sponsorship that underscores the firm’s commitment to the local arts in general, said Paul Meyerhoff, Symphony Financial Planning’s president.

“Art is essential to a thriving community, and we are always looking for ways to bring the public and artists together. That’s why we’re so excited to sponsor the Davis Art Studio Tour once again.”

In addition to the sponsorship, Symphony Financial Planning regularly hosts 2nd Friday ArtAbout events at its office and has sponsored a variety of other local art programs as well.

Tickets for the 2017 tour will cost $10 apiece, with children 12 and younger attending free.
