Symphony Financial Planning Shows Support for Young Artists

Symphony Financial Planning is pleased to announce that it is a sponsor of this year’s Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show and Arlynne Crandall High School Exhibit in downtown Davis.

The nonprofit Davis Arts Centers hosts the annual juried show and exhibit, both of which feature the art of high school students. The Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show includes the works of Davis high school seniors who plan to study art in college. Professional local artists will jury the exhibit and award several cash scholarships. Meanwhile, the Arlynne Crandall High School exhibit features Davis students who are not participating in the juried show.

Paul Meyerhoff, President and Founder of Symphony Financial Planning, said sponsoring shows spotlighting young artists is a “natural” for the firm—an ardent supporter of the Davis arts community.

“The great artists of tomorrow are in school today,” Meyerhoff said. “I think shows like these are fantastic opportunities for these young artists to see how well their vision will be received and further ignite their creativity.”

The show and exhibit will run from May 8 to 24 at the Davis Arts Center, at 1919 F St. Scholarships for the juried show will be presented at a free reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 12.
