Symphony Financial Planning Sponsors Davis Arts Center Holiday Sale and Fundraiser

Davis Arts Center to host 60-plus artisan vendors Dec. 2 to 4.

DAVIS, California—Nov. 10, 2016—Symphony Financial Planning wants to help families find thoughtful Christmas presents for their loved ones while giving a boost to local artists and the Davis Arts Center.

The wealth management firm will sponsor the Davis Arts Center’s 26th annual Holiday Sale from Dec. 2 to 4 at the center, at 1919 F St. in downtown Davis. Over 60 artisan vendors will sell both functional and fine art, including ceramics, textiles, soaps, jewelry, clothing, home décor, candles and food. In addition, children can do their own shopping in the Children’s Secret Store and make their own gifts in the pottery-painting studio.

Paul Meyerhoff, President and Founder of Symphony Financial Planning, said he was excited to sponsor the holiday sale.

“Everyone benefits. People can buy handcrafted gifts for their loved ones while supporting the talent of our local artisans.”

Plus, he added, the Holiday Sale is the biggest fundraiser for the nonprofit Davis Arts Center, whose mission is to bring together artists and art lovers to learn new skills and celebrate the creative spirit.

“We really believe in the work that the Davis Arts Center does. That’s why we jumped at the chance to sponsor the Holiday Sale,” Meyerhoff said.

Symphony Financial Planning has sponsored the nonprofit’s activities previously, including the 2016 Davis Art Studio Tour in October.

Meyerhoff encouraged others to get involved. Volunteers ranging from gift wrappers to shopper helpers are needed for the Holiday Sale.
