DAVIS, California—November 1, 2017—Symphony Financial Planning announced today that it is sponsoring the Davis Arts Center’s annual holiday sale—the nonprofit organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

It is the second year that Symphony Financial Planning, a Davis-based financial planning and investment management firm, has sponsored the fundraiser.

“We’re thrilled to be sponsors,” said Symphony Financial Planning’s founder, Paul Meyerhoff. “We are ardent supporters of the arts and embrace the Davis Arts Center’s mission to bring together artists and the community.”

The 27th annual sale will feature more than 60 artisans selling functional and fine-art goods, including ceramics, textiles, soaps, home décor, food and jewelry.

The sale is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Dec. 1 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3.

In addition, the Children’s Secret Store, where volunteers help kids buy and wrap gifts, will hold special hours to accommodate children with special needs. Those hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 29, and reservations are required.

Admission to the holiday sale is free, and the arts center is at 1919 F St., Davis, CA 95616.

Meyerhoff said that people do not have to be sponsors or buy gifts to show their support for the Davis Arts Center.

“The arts center depends on a whole host of volunteers to pull off a successful holiday sale,” he said. “Volunteering is a great way to help out an organization that does so much for our community.”
