Join us for the 2nd Friday ArtAbout on October 9th!
We are excited to announce that we are hosting another 2nd Friday Art About event at our office, located at 416 F Street in downtown Davis. Please join us for a reception from 5:30-8:30PM for refreshments and to mingle with the artist, Marjorie Gelus.
This is a second of a series of quarterly exhibits that will feature the creative work of our clients and friends. Our series will begin with travel photography and we will exhibit artists that have traveled all over the globe. Marjorie's work will be on display at Symphony Financial Planning through December 31, 2015.
About the Artist:
Marjorie Gelus, of Carmichael, California, was a professor of German literature for forty-two years at various universities. In her new life, her focus has shifted to another kind of writing: writing with light, or photo- (from the Greek word for light) + -graphy (from the Greek word for writing). This collection is a sample of photographs from her travels to places that seemed the most alien to her.
Please feel free to bring your friends to this informal event, the more the merrier!
